Mission Statement: Our mission is to help you grow in fervent love for God, for one another, and for those without Christ, both locally and globally. Our vision is to see the whole world become fully devoted disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ in the true, apostolic, Christian faith, and members of His eternal family.
Welcome to St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church of Washington, DC, serving under His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, the 117th Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark.
Our church has been in Fairfax, VA, since 1994. Like the DC metropolitan area that we serve, we have been growing steadily over the years. Despite our ever-increasing numbers, we try hard to preserve the "family spirit" in our church community. There are many opportunities for meeting and making friends at St. Mark's and for offering service to one another and our community at large. We hope that you will enjoy browsing this website to see who we are, where we are, and where we are going.
Ours is truly a great story, and we welcome you to become part of it.
