The Parking Ministry
Our goal
To best Serve St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church of Washington DC in organizing the Church Parking lot the best way possible with the limited parking space we have for the growing congregation.
Long Term goals
- Raise Young Leaders & Servants. Grow the ministry.
- To eventually have all members of our Congregation be mindful of the limited parking Spaces that we have at St. Mark and grow our leaders & servants in this Ministry in order for us to ultimately develop & serve other Ministries in our Church.
Short Term goals
- Develop a system in assisting with the Church parking needs; pass this system from servant to servant & develop it to be the same system from week to week.
- Recruit & train more servants. Improve our service to the congregation; prepare our servants in facing any foreseeable week to week obstacles and/or issues.
Why I should serve here
Our Lord Jesus Christ has called on each one of us to serve him, his people & his house; serving our lord has been a wonderful blessing in my life. This Service has changed me personally, I am forever grateful to our Lord Jesus Christ for allowing me this opportunity.
Our Target Group
All the Congregation of St. Mark but especially young adults.
Some Statistics
This Service was initially started by 2 members almost 4 years ago through the Leadership of Fr. Bishoy and with the Lord’s help we are now over 15 members strong and seeking to additional members.
What are different services I can choose from and what is required of me to serve in either
• Any Service God Chooses for Me & Gives me the opportunity to take its blessings.
i. Attend Wednesday Discipleship meeting.
ii. To be present every Sunday.
iii. Prepare for the services needed.
iv. Help Members of our congregation in anyway I can.
v. LOVE the Service & people of our Congregation as much as I can.
