Small Groups
The first place we naturally feel comfortable is with our friends and natural relationships. Starting a group with people who know each other is so much easier than starting with a group of strangers. However, people are looking to be connected and we must be willing to step out of our comfort zones to grow relationships – especially spiritual relationships. We must be willing to share what we learn with those around us. If we continue to only feed ourselves we get “fat” but if we exercise what we are learning and what the original church intended we get “fit”. That way not only are we healthier but the whole church body is healthier as shown in Acts – “And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
