Giving

We believe that giving is an act of worship. People aren’t giving to a church or a building, but to our Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

Why Give?

Giving and tithing are not mere acts that we do out of obligation, but are actually acts of worship that are precious in the sight of the Lord. We read in the building of the Temple in 1 Chronicles 29 that King David proclaimed to the people, “‘Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver.'” We also ought to strive to have this same zeal as David in giving from our own special treasure!

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.

Malachi 3:10
