Ministries

“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” John 12:26

At St. Mark's we offer a variety of ministries to meet the needs of all members from the very young to the young at heart! Below you will find links and more information on just a few of our ministry services, but many more are available. We are always looking for additional volunteers with a variety of talents and skills.

Children and Youth Ministry

To equip the next generation, their parents and volunteers to intimately know God, seek Him and live for Him. The volunteers do this by showing all members of the church congregation the love of God through teaching the Word of God and being examples of Christ.

Deacons

Part of the rich history of our church is the hymnology and liturgical roles that our ordained deacons bring to life during each and every service.

Family Ministry

The Family Ministry’s mission is to serve families by showing them the path to our Lord and establish their identity in Christ.

Light & Life

A time to come together and grow through the Word of God. Join us every Sunday after liturgies for Arabic or English Light and Life, college age and up.

Little Flock Christian School

Little Flock Christian School provides affordable high quality education in a Christian environment for grades K2 - K5.

Marriage Ministry

St Mark’s Marriage Ministry is committed to bringing couples into a closer relationship with Christ and one another, and nurturing the sacrament of marriage in the Church. We believe that investing in strong marriages will strengthen our families and the entire St Mark community.

Men’s Ministry

To build a strong community of godly men that have fervent love for God, His church, and their families.

Mini Market

We are a ministry focused on fundraising for the church through the practical needs of our church members and through reaching out to the surrounding community. Love, respect, dedication, and teamwork is the reason of the Ministry’s success.

Orthodox Bookstore

An online ministry, established for true evangelism. Here to bring you the literary and spiritual resources of the orthodox faith in one central location.

Orthodox Sermons

Our mission is simple: to preach the gospel to all nations and share the Orthodox Christian faith with everyone by offering a free and accessible database full of spiritually-enriching materials.

Outreach Ministry

To reach every single member of the church body to ensure that whatever services they need, whether it be spiritual, emotional, medical is met with love and care.

Pastoral Care

As one body in Christ, we believe in supporting one another in love. Here at St. Mark, we have several ministries that focus on caring for and providing support to you and your family.

St. Cosman & St. Damian Sick Ministry

Our mission is to deliver the Word of God, His love, and His care to those who are sick along with their surrounding family members. The ministry serves and supports acute cases, chronic cases, those that are pregnant, and those in nursing homes.

St. Joseph Senior Ministry

The St. Joseph Senior Ministry focuses on serving the elderly and ensuring that the love of God is constantly present in their lives. During the aghapy meetings, we spend time praising our Lord, praying, and sharing spiritual stories or homilies. Along with the aghapy meetings, St. Joseph Ministry conducts an annual trip that enriches spiritual growth.

Social Ministry

To prayerfully and lovingly help congregation members see the work of God in their lives and His love for them through providing them assistance in their material needs and resources they can use to satisfy these needs.

Women's Ministry

Our mission is to remove the artificial barriers that separate women by giving them opportunities to come together in fun and spiritual events and activities. It is our belief that we show our love of the Lord Jesus Christ by loving and serving each other.
